Remembering those Who Died by Suicide
September is Suicide Prevention Month and I’ve been working tirelessly with psychology and counseling students at Truett McConnell University to plan activities to raise awareness on campus. We would like to share with you a photo frame where you can add a picture and name of someone who you’d like to remember who died by suicide.
When people die from suicide, stigma often keeps those left behind from talking about them. The way your loved one died does not define who they were. They were fearfully and wonderfully made; remember the good times. Cling to the happy memories.
Feel free to share the frame below on social media. Please use the hashtags #tmupsychobears #GAremembers and #suicidepreventionweek2020
Thinking of my childhood friend Louie.
