Celebrating 90 and counting

Last week I had the privilege of celebrating two very special people in my life, Mrs. Geneva who turned 95, and Mr. Bob who turned 90. When I think about these two, I am moved by their commitment to serve. Both continue to serve in various ministries; each are others-focused. They have both overcome tremendous hardships in their lifetime, and as a result, their faith has grown and made them stronger. Their character is impeccable; they are loved and respected in the church and in the community.

If I live to be 90, I want my life to count. Mr. Bob and Mrs. Geneva continue to live with intentionality. They love Jesus and love people. I pray that my life will follow their example and I will grow to do both of these things better.
